Our wavy and curly halos are made from premium Kanekalon synthetic fibres that are pre-styled into their texture. The curl or wave pattern is built in, so you don't need to create it from scratch — you just need to maintain and enhance it.

Key rule: Always keep heat tools below 130°C. Kanekalon fibres are heat-friendly within this range, but exceeding it can permanently alter the curl pattern.

Refreshing the Curl or Wave Pattern

After wearing or storing your halo, the curl pattern may need a little refresh. Here's how:

• Steam method: Hold the extension over a bowl of hot water or use a clothes steamer on a low setting. The steam gently reactivates the curl pattern without direct heat.
• Damp scrunching: Lightly mist the extension with water, then scrunch upwards with your hands to encourage the curls or waves to reform.
• Diffuser: Use a hairdryer with a diffuser attachment on a low heat setting to dry and define the curls without frizz.

Blending Wavy & Curly Extensions with Your Natural Hair

The key to a seamless blend with textured extensions is matching your natural hair's texture as closely as possible. If your natural hair is straight, you'll need to add some texture before fitting the halo.

• For straight natural hair: Use a curling wand or flexi rods to add waves or curls to your natural hair before fitting the halo. This creates a cohesive look throughout.
• For naturally wavy hair: Enhance your natural waves with a curl cream or mousse, then fit the halo and scrunch both together for a unified texture.
• For naturally curly hair: Apply your usual curl-defining products, fit the halo, and gently blend the two textures with your fingers rather than a brush to avoid frizz.
